LiteLight Mounting Options
Because of the light weight of the LiteLight head, many mounting possibilities
are available that would not be possible with a standard head.
There are four basic methods of mounting the LiteLight: Figure 01 Figure 02 Figure 03 Figure 04

Everybody
is familiar with this clamp (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc. figure 3). However, we have equipped it with a ¼ X 20 (tripod) stud for direct mounting
in the threaded base of the LiteLight head. A swivel joint can be added
for maximum versatility. It can be used with the bare tube, flat
reflector, background and hairlight reflector.

This
accessory is used mostly in industrial photography (production lines, machine
shops, etc.). It enables the photographer to attach the bare tube and
reflectors to any steel surface. (figure 4). Light
stands can sometimes become unwieldy in these situations. They can be used
with refrigerators, stoves, etc. for architectural photography.

4. Custom Mounting:
The threaded insert in the base of the LiteLight head offers many possibilities
for custom softboxes and reflectors. Multiple units have been used in food
photography softboxes to enable the photographer to vary the lighting (one side
darker than the other to accent a particular part of the product).
