LiteLight Head with 2400 Watt-Second Flashtube

The basic LiteLight head (or socket) is the 'heart' of the LiteLight System!

Weighing in at only 4.5 oz (Less the 16 foot cord, which weighs more than the head itself!) the head is molded of space-age plastic which not only encases the electronics, but greatly improves durability.  It has been described as a "cute" pencil light.  The comparison ends there. The Litelight heads can accommodate a full line of reflectors, softboxes and light modifiers.  No other "pencil light" compares.  LiteLight heads are available to fit most power supplies: Dynalite, Speedotron, Novatron, Norman and Photogenic.  The LiteLight head includes an auxiliary inlet into which any of the LiteLight modeling lamp assemblies can be plugged.  

The LiteLight also accepts all LiteLight flashtubes, ranging from 400 to 2400 Watt/Seconds.  LiteLight heads for discontinued models are available on special order. These include Balcar, Broncolor, Luz, etc.

All LiteLight heads are $150.00 and come with a 16 foot cable.  (Does NOT include flashtube, please see 'Flashtube' section.)

An interesting feature is that the base of the LiteLight socket conveniently fits into a standard table lamp socket and can, using the variator on your own power pack, be made to simulate the light from a standard household lamp, (and isn't orange.)

The LiteLight also accepts ALL LiteLight flashtubes, ranging from 400 to 2400 Watt/Seconds.
